Please call Governor Hassan, RE: SB 116

by NHFC, Inc. on May 23, 2015

Several NHFC Members have told me that their emails may not be reaching Governor Hassan.  We have also learned that there are some problems with the contact form on the Governors website.

It is very important that Governor Hassan hear from you, the grassroots gun owner.  She needs to know you want her to sign SB 116, Constitutional Carry into law.  Please contact her by telephone (603)271-2121 or by FAX: (603) 271-7640.  But please, call her now, don’t wait!  Be polite but firm when you urge her to sign SB 116 into law.

SB 116 is a much needed update to our state’s firearms laws.  The current system has outlived it’s usefulness and we need to change with the times.  New Hampshire needs to join the seven other Constitutional Carry states.

Far to many people who are legally allowed to own firearms are being denied licenses to carry.  This new wave of denials is due to several State Supreme Court cases.

Some police chiefs are taking the position that it is better to simply deny an application and ‘let the judge decide’. This approach is a violation of the spirit and letter of New Hampshire law. It forces applicants into an overcrowded court system where the outcome, in a matter of ‘discretion’, may well depend on which judge is appointed to hear your case. This is a costly and slow process with no guarantees and not what the legislature intended.

SB 116 will instantly bring clarity and fairness to the people of NH! Further, it will correct the inherent injustice in the current system!

Please call 603)271-2121 or FAX: (603) 271-7640 the Governors Office and let Governor Hassan know that you are counting on her to stand for freedom and sign SB 116 into law! Please remember to be polite but firm when you call.

Please call or FAX, we are not sure the emails are getting delivered!

U.S. Postal mail may also be sent to:
Governor Hassan
Office of the Governor
State House

Thanks for your support.

In Liberty,

Scott A. Krauss

Vice President – NHFC
