It is time…

by Secretary, NHFC on June 16, 2019

Our backs are against the wall.  The Bills that violate The Constitution of the State New Hampshire, Bill of Right Article 2-a have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate.

It is time: We NEED you to call Gov. Chris Sununu (603) 271-2121 first thing on Monday morning, and ask him to veto these four anti-freedom Bills.

Two of the Bills HB109 ‘Sell a friend a gun and go to JAIL’, and HB514 ‘Buy a Gun and go home WITHOUT it’ are already on their way to the Governor’s desk.   Those bills could be on his desk any day.

The Speaker is playing games with the other two Bills: HB564 Safe Criminal Zones (Schools), and HB696 Elder care Gun ConfiscationAt the Speaker’s discretion and while in recess, the House non-concurred and requested a committee of conference on both Bills, when there was a Full House session the following day.  That’s right, there was no vote, but there could have been.  So much for open debate and accountability.  The Speaker, without the consent of the other House members just sent the bills to a Committee of Conference to allow the text to be changed yet one more time.

They’re holding these Bills till the last possible minute hoping to manipulate the language and to leave us less time to fight these bills.  There are hearings on the 17th and 19th of next week for these bills.  Please Note: Even though House Rule 28 requires it, HB564 will have no members of the minority party on the Committee of Conference.

You need to let Governor Sununu know you have his back.  Encourage him to hold the line, and defend our rights recognized in our Constitutions (603) 271-2121.

Please remember to be polite but firm and request that the Governor respond to your message.

Remind the Governor that no gun control bills were enacted into law during the fourteen years that the Governor’s Benson, Lynch, and Hassan were in the corner office.

Thanks for your continued support.

In liberty,

JR Hoell
Corporate Secretary – NHFC, Inc.
