US Congressman Frank Guinta (R-NH-1) will hold a press conference to discuss the bill he has sponsored that will allow the sales of all firearms across state lines.
Because New Hampshire is the only state in the Northeast without a sales tax, Congressman Guinta’s simple bill, H.R. 4928 — the Firearms Transfer Improvement Act – would benefit our many licensed dealers. Just as people travel to New Hampshire to purchase appliances, electronics, furniture and jewelry, they will be able to purchase firearms free from sales tax! Congressman Guinta’s bill would benefit New Hampshire’s entire economy.H.R. 4928 also benefits New Hampshire residents. If a person is on vacation and decides they would like to purchase a firearm. They may do so with out the inconvenience and added cost of having their new firearm shipped to a licensed dealer in New Hampshire. They can leave the store with it immediately. In this age of computers along with the mandated “instant check” there is no reason why anyone should be forbidden from purchasing firearms from any licensed dealer, any where, any time.
H.R. 4928 is not the only strong pro-gun action taken by Congressman Guinta, it is just the most recent. He has also sponsored or co-sponsored:

H.R. 3115- Enhancing Safety at Military Installations Act
In the wake of the tragic shooting rampage that left five U.S. service members dead in Chattanooga, Congressmen Guinta immediately signed on to this bill that would allow trained service members at U.S. military installations such as recruitment centers, one of which was the site of last week’s attack, to carry firearms.

H.R. 2710- The Lawful Purpose and Self- Defense Act
Eliminate ATF’s authorization to reclassify popular rifle ammunition as “armor piercing ammunition.”
Provides for the lawful importation of any non-NFA firearm or ammunition that may otherwise be lawfully possessed and sold within the United States.
Protect shotguns, shotgun shells, and larger caliber rifles from arbitrary classification as “destructive devices.”
Broadens the temporary interstate transfer provision to allow temporary transfers for all lawful purposes rather than just for “sporting purposes.”

H.R. 1865 grants gun owners the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights when they are legally camping, hunting, and fishing on Army Corps property.
Currently, legislation passed into law allows individuals to possess an assembled or functional firearm in any parcel of land in the National Park Service or National Wildlife Refuge System, but NOT on any Army Corps of Engineers’ land. The Recreational Lands Self-Defense Act would prohibit the Secretary of the Army from enforcing any regulation that keeps an individual from possessing firearms on Army Corps Water Resource Development project if:
The individual is not otherwise prohibited by law from possessing the firearm

This legislation would eliminate the $200 transfer tax on firearm silencer and allow hunting with silencers. It is important because there will be no more $200 tax stamp. No excessive wait times. No fingerprint cards, passport photos, or Chief Law Enforcement Officer Signature. No NFA trusts. A simple process, just like when you purchase most firearms through a dealer. Citizens should not be taxed for trying to protect their hearing while exercising their Second Amendment rights.

The bill limits the President’s ability to bulldoze over the system our forefathers set in place to limit a tyrannical government. It halts any Presidential executive action that violate the Second Amendment or infringe on Congress’s Article I responsibilities as having “no force or effect,” prohibits funds for such actions, and establishes standing for Congress, state and local governments,Congressman Frank Guinta has been there for us, lets show strong support for him at Shooters Outpost on May 4, 10:00AM.
