Who is David Chipman?
David Chipman is President Joe Biden’s anti-gun nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). It is hard to imagine a worse choice for this position. Mr. Chipman fills all of Joe Biden’s criteria for the job.
He hates guns
He believes gun owners are knuckle-dragging morons
He is Senior policy adviser at Giffords, an organization that advocates for stricter gun laws and is led by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz.,
He lobbied Congress for universal background checks
He has lobbied for handgun licensing and registration
He has lobbied to ban modern sporting rifles (MSRs like the AR platform)
He has proposed establishing a national firearm transfer delay period
He has lobbied congress to institute age-based gun bans
The list goes on… and on. Now these may be the Biden/Harris administration’s ideal candidate criteria but they’re not mine. Even moderate Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said he’s made statements that “demean law-abiding gun owners.”, and Senate republican Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) calls Chipman an “anti-gun extremist”!
If that is not enough, take a look at his resume, and you will see that he was policy advisor to two of the most anti-gun groups in America…Giffords and Mayors Against Illegal Guns, while managing external relationships of the ATF!!
His resume is exactly what gun owners DON’T want:

Should I mention that he was the case agent in the Branch Davidian trial after the disastrous and murderous Waco TX fiasco where 76 Texas citizens were killed?
More recently, every Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee has demanded a second hearing over alleged past racist comments reported by ATF colleagues.

“What I would suggest: If they did go out and buy a gun, I would secure that gun, locked and unloaded, and hide it behind the cans of tuna and beef jerky that you’ve stored in the cabinet, and only bring that out if the zombies start to appear,” Chipman mocked.
“I don’t think they are,” he continued.
“Many see putting a committed gun control proponent like David Chipman in charge of ATF is like putting a tobacco executive in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, or antifa in charge of the Portland Police Department,” said Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Remember Joe Biden telling you to go get yourself a double barrelled shotgun to protect yourself?
Joe Biden’s campaign website says,
“As president, Biden will pursue constitutional, common-sense gun safety policies. Biden will: Hold gun manufacturers accountable. Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities. Reduce stockpiling of weapons. Require background checks for all gun sales. Create an effective program to ensure individuals who become prohibited from possessing firearms relinquish their weapons. Give states incentives to set up gun licensing programs.”
If you think that Biden’s nomination of Chipman was an accident, you are sorely mistaken. This is part of his full-on assault of the 2nd Amendment!!
David Chipman cannot be allowed to have this position…your gun rights depend on his defeat!
